Charles Fankhauser, CPA
A 1979 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Pan American University, Charles joined Long Chilton, LLP upon graduation and received his CPA certificate in 1980. He has previously served as manager in both the McAllen and Brownsville offices.
Charles has been directly involved in planning, performing and supervising many of the Firm's audits in various industries, with a special concentration in audits of governmental entities throughout the four county area of the Rio Grande Valley.
In addition to providing audit services, Charles is also involved in providing consulting and tax services to numerous clients in the region.
Charles has also been instrumental in providing training, presentations, and staff development for Long Chilton, LLP staff, as well as for Firm clients and other business professionals.
Brenda Dea Krafka, CPA
A 1984 magna cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University, Brenda joined
Long Chilton in 1986 and received her CPA certificate in 1988. She
previously served as tax manager for the Harlingen office and is a
member of the firm's CPE committee. Her areas of expertise include
income tax, estate and gift tax and IRS representation.
Brenda's community service activities are extensive and include current and past leadership roles for the Zonta Club of Harlingen, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Rio Grande Valley, Rio Grande Valley Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs, Main Educational Trust, and Briggs-Coleman 4-H Club. Brenda is also a member of the Texas Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs and St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Harlingen.
